Graduation Gift

Hello there my bloggyland friends.  I know I don't update this as much as I would like to, but I hope that when I do share a post, that it inspires someone.  I love making homemade gifts for family and friends.  This graduation season is no different.  So I would like to share this personalized shadow box I made for hubby's cousin.

I double checked the color scheme with her mom to make sure I had her favorite color.

I love the sparkle of the rhinestones and glitter, and just girlie theme of it all.  I found how to make the larger flowers on Pinterest here! The smaller one's I've been doing for awhile.  I used the Dressy Stack from DCWV.  Love this stack! Actually I don't think there is a stack I don't love.  Thanks to my SIL for getting me hooked on their paper.  I hope everyone has a wonderful weekend!

More Crochet Gifts to Share

Here are the lovely ladies in my family modeling their gifts.

Looks like we don't really need them with the kind of weather we have had.  Feels alot like spring.  I can remember a few years though of having snow for Easter so I don't think we are clear of the white stuff just yet.  LOL
Thanks for visiting.

Birthday Gifts

Just wanted to share some birthday gifts I made for friends.  I just bought the shirts and embellished them with the fabric flowers.  I made another and attached to a headband. I just cute different size circle from fabric and folded in twice and arranged in a flower shape. Super easy!

The girls loved these!  So happy to see my creations well received. ;0)
Have a great weekend!

A Birthday Card for my niece

Here is a card I put together for my niece's birthday.  I used A Day for Daisies digi stamp and entered it into their Pretty Pastel Challenge #34.  I used the purple twine for the The Twinery sample kit and colored with my Promarkers.  Paper was from my stash.

Thanks for visiting.  I have to finish uploading my pics of my gifts I made from Christmas.  Have a wonderful weekend.

Some Finished Christmas Presents

Hey there everyone!  Hope you are all finishing up on your holiday projects and wrapping everything up. I just wanted to pop in and share my grandma's gift I finished and gave her last week at our annual Christmas party. I love the way it came out.  It is super soft and the pink flower has metallic thread, which is super pretty.  I want to make her a scarf to match.  Need to get more yarn though.  It was only my second hat I've ever made.  I think it turned out pretty good.  Took me forever to find just the right pattern and stitches.

This is my first hat ever that I crocheted.  Just followed the pattern from a book I got from the library for a basic hat and added the ear flaps and Mohawk stripe myself.  My hubby love this and my 3 boys all put their orders in for their own.  LOL  This one is going to my nephew who I had no idea what to make.  :0)

Thanks to my oldest for modeling for me.  Let me know what you all think.  The kids all think I should be selling these.  I tell them yeah right!  Maybe one of these years I'll start making every one's gifts earlier in the year and that may be a possibility.  LOL  Hope everyone has a wonderful weekend!  I am secretly wishing for snow next week. I am so tired of this rain!
